Diletta “Adele” Colasante, 89, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at home. Born in Introdacqua, L’Aquila, Italy, she immigrated to the United States in 1956. Adele was a resident of the Germantown section of Philadelphia, before Lawrenceville. She was Parishioner at The Church of St. Ann. Some of her hobbies included gardening, caring for her family and her beloved 2018 Super Bowl Champions The Philadelphia Eagles. Adele was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Daughter of the late Giuseppe and Loreta Ventresca; wife of the late Giovanni Colasante; she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Antoinette “Toni” and John Gabrick; Anna Colasante and Garry Diemer; and Linda and Michael Scott; her grandchildren Julia Gabrick, Zachary and Alexandra Scott; her sister Irma Lucangeli; her niece Clara Gerace, cousins in Italy, Canada and the United States. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will be held privately and at convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:30-11:00AM in the daily chapel at The Church of St. Ann. Memorial donations can be made to The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
