Obituary of Mary A. Kyselka

Mary Kyselka (nee Blicharz), of Lawrenceville, passed away while under the care of The Clare Estate, Bordentown, NJ. She was just shy of her 98th birthday. Born in Trenton, NJ, she then moved to Ewing Township from 1929 to 1941 before moving to Lawrenceville. She was a graduate of St. Hedwig’s Grammar School and attended Trenton Central High School. She was employed by Heinemann Electric Company and Bamberger’s in Quakerbridge Mall. Mary was a lifetime member of St. Hedwig’s Church and the Rosary Society, an honorary member of the St. Hedwig’s PTA. She enjoyed being a member of Lawrence Senior Club 2 and 5, and St. Michael’s Senior Club. Mary was an avid seamstress and loved gardening and had always enjoyed reading. During the past 20 years, she spent many happy hours playing bingo and chatting with her friends on Cole Lane. Mary was married to her late loving husband Paul for 63 years. She was also predeceased by her parents Stanley and Josephine Blicharz, her brothers Bernard, Walter, Victor, John and his wife Edna, her sisters Stephanie Bogdan and her husband William, Stella Marhefka and her husband John and Veronica Notta and her husband John; Mary is survived by four daughters and their husbands Eileen and Chester Kulak, Mary Jane and Kenneth Diener, Carole and Walter Radomski and Annette and Stephen Ryder; her ten grandchildren Barbara Moloney, Susan Kardasz, Jennifer Skorupa, John Kulak, Stas Kulak, William Diener, Dawn Diener, Michael Radomski, Cynthia Vassia and Stephen Ryder, Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will begin on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 9AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton NJ 08638. Interment will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing Twp. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made in Mary’s memory to The St. Hedwig’s Church Knights of Columbus Council #7244, 2796 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
