Obituary of Barbara J. McKeever

Barbara J. McKeever, 80, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifelong area resident. Barbara retired from the State of New Jersey, where she was employed as Assistant Director of Human Resources. She was a parishioner at The Church of St. Ann and was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Erin. Some of her hobbies included gardening, stamp collecting, traveling and bird watching. She had been a volunteer at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton for many years. Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed. Daughter of the late Michael and Mary Gusz, wife of the late Frederick Toft and John Kent; she is survived by her husband Richard J. McKeever; her children and their spouses Catherine and Richard Stillwell, Elizabeth and George Geiger, John and Tatjana Kent and Christopher Kent; her step children and their spouses Deborah and Ralph Long and Robert and Catherine McKeever; her grandchildren Sean and Katie Long, Michael Stillwell, Nick McKeever, Lucas McKeever, Ryan Kent, Stefanie Kent, Charles Geiger, Christopher McKeever and Abigail McKeever; her sister Eva Spalluto and her companion Tedd Labaw; two nephews and their spouses Edward and Sandy Cook and Christopher and Erica Cook. Funeral services will begin on Saturday February 24, 2018 at 10AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will follow at Our lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton. Relatives and friends can call on Friday evening from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
