Mary Ellen Moriarity Schiavone, 92, of Morrisville, PA died peacefully on Wednesday at Morris Hall Meadows at Lawrenceville. Born in Princeton, Mary was a resident of Ewing and Lawrenceville for many years prior to her move to Morrisville to reside with her daughter Patty Cook and family in 2009. Mary retired from Bell of New Jersey in 1991 as a service assistant supervisor after 28 years of service. Daughter of the late John and Margaret O’Brien Moriarity, wife of the late Frank P. Schiavone, mother of the late John Thomas Schiavone and sister of the late Thomas, Jack and Edward Moriarity and Margaret Birgl, Joan Maggie and Ann Davison; Mary is survived by her 4 children, Tim Schiavone of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Meg Silverman and her husband Matthew of Laurys Station, PA; Carol Rabinowitz and her husband Mitchell of Easton, PA; and Patty Cook and her husband Mark of Morrisville, PA with whom she resided. Mary is also survived by her sister Catherine Doress, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grand children and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 20 at 11 AM at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road Lawrenceville, NJ. Burial will follow in the Ewing Church Cemetery. Visitation for relatives and friends will be on Saturday from 9 to 11 AM at the Church of St. Ann. Memorial contributions to honor Mary may be made to the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
