Obituary of Helen Ann Robbins

Helen Ann Robbins, 87, of Ewing, died Monday at home. Born in Reynoldsville, PA., she had resided in Lawrence Township for seventeen years before moving to Ewing eleven years ago. Helen was formerly employed at Switlik Parachute Company for fourteen years and later worked as a waitress at Howard Johnson's in Lawrence Township for thirty-four years, and retired from the Princeton High School cafeteria staff after thirteen years. She was a member of the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville. Daughter of the late James and Lottie Stefanski Capes, and sister of the late Floyd , Raymond, and Edward Capes, Verna Underwood and Kathryn Harmor, she is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law Judith Robbins and Karen and Gregory Giovannetti. Also surviving is her granddaughter Andrea Holbig and her husband Brian, a brother Joseph Capes, five sisters Joan Taglairino, Lottie Pierzhanowski, Phyllis Mesday, Irene Capes and Delores Benson, a God-daughter Kimberly Stam and God-sons Ronald Taglairino and Jimmy Capes and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 12 noon in the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Entombment will be in the Ewing Church Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call on Friday from 10 AM to 12 noon in the daily chapel at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
