Obituary of RuthAnn Schroth

RuthAnn Schroth, 60, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 11, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Somerville, MA, she was a former resident of Ewing for 10 years until she moved to Hamilton 16 years ago. RuthAnn was a para-professional in the Hopewell Valley Regional School District. She was a longtime parishioner at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, a member of the altar rosary society and a reader at mass. Some of her hobbies included shopping, bingo, playing chicken feet every Saturday night with friends, trips to Atlantic City, trips to her best friends Lake House in New Hampshire and beloved friends, colleagues and students at Stony Brook Elementary School. She was an avid New England sports fan. Daughter of the late William P. Sr. and Lorraine Stephenson, sister of the late William P. Stephenson, Jr.; she is survived by her husband Peter P. Schroth; two daughters and sons-in-law Jillian and D.W. Swartz and Jamie and Vincent D’Alessandro; her grandchildren Thomas and his fiancée Victoria, Serena, Kaylee, Trevor, Lexi and Victoria; her great-granddaughter Alyannah; two sisters and one brother-in-law Susann Ingalls and Debra and Albert Pierre; many nieces, nephews and cousins; her very dear friends Philip and Vera Brienze and Robert and Viola Struck A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 10AM at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church 1130 Brunswick Ave, Trenton, NJ 08638. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton.
