Obituary of John Wengler

John R. Wengler, 50, of Newtown, PA passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Abington Hospice at Warminster.
Born in Neptune, NJ, John was raised in Interlaken, NJ and was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville before moving to Newtown. He was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ, received his BA from Fordham University, and his MBA from Dowling College in New York. John was the Vice President of Marketing at Interprose PR. His greatest joys were spending time with his three daughters and visiting the Jersey Shore.
Son of the late Jean R. Wengler; he is survived by three daughters Allison Rose, Victoria Elizabeth and Stephanie Frances Wengler; his father John L. Wengler; his sister Elisabeth Wengler; his girlfriend Lisa Redlus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Interment will be held at St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt, NJ.
The viewing for John will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 4-8PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in John’s memory to St. Baldrick’s Childhood Research Foundation 1333 South Mayflower Avenue, Suite 400 Monrovia, CA 91016 USA or to the Thyroid Cancer Research Program at Penn Medicine.
