Edith Klanacsky, 94, of Ewing, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 2, 2017 at The Greenwood House, Ewing Twp.
Born in Switzerland, she came to the United States in 1954 and lived in Rolla, North Dakota for 13 years before eventually settling in Lawrenceville. Edith is a retiree of Horizon Bank in Princeton, where she worked in the mortgage department. After retirement Edith spent time gardening, socializing with friends, and discovered that she had a talent for watercoloring. She was a devoted grandmother and continued to cook wonderful holiday meals for her family.
Edith was predeceased by her parents, Gustav and Julia Bill, husband Hans Klanacsky, and son, Ralph Klanacsky. She is survived by two daughters Denise Klanacsky and Beatrice and son-in-law Tim Strong; four grandchildren Nicholas, William, Olivia and Victoria.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced on the Poulson & Van Hise website.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the National MS Society.
