Loretta M. Wylie, 91, of Lawrenceville died peacefully on Thursday morning, April 27, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Unit at Morris Hall, Lawrenceville, NJ. Born in New Haven, CT, Loretta was a resident of Lawrenceville most of her life. She was a graduate of St. Raphael’s School of Nursing in New Haven, CT and served as the school nurse at St. Ann School in Lawrenceville for 17 years. Loretta was an avid tennis and bridge player. She also enjoyed volunteering at St. Mary’s Gift Shop at Morris Hall. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents William and Loretta Coughlin Roche, her brother William Roche, her first husband Robert A. Dinsmore, her second husband Thomas R. Wylie, and son Thomas R. Wylie, Jr. She is survived by six children; Adrienne McAuley (Thomas) of Marietta, GA, Kathleen Crooks (Nelson) of Gibsonia, PA, Robert D. Wylie (Pamela) of Hamilton, NJ, John R. Wylie of Albuquerque, NM, Mary Wylie of Hamilton, NJ, and Lori Dietrich (Todd) of Chandler, AZ; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many fond nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Saint Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Rd, Lawrenceville, NJ. Burial will follow in the Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the daily chapel at the church.
