Robert J. Murphy, of Lumberville, PA., died Sunday on his 11th wedding anniversary at Doylestown Hospital. He was 43.
Born in Trenton and a former resident of Pennington, he had resided in Lumberville for four and a half years.
Robert was a graduate of the Hun School and attended Farleigh-Dickinson University.
He was formerly employed at Lockeed-Martin, Bloomberg LLC and Tinsman Brothers Lumber.
Robert coached the U9 Solebury Fury soccer team.
A devoted father, Robert was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Katherine and Ennis Pasela, he is survived by his mother Elaine Pasela Murphy of Hamilton Township, his father Robert J. Murphy of Coronado, CA., his wife Susan Franz Murphy, and four children Cassidy, Robert, Jacob and Anna Murphy. Also surviving are his brother Patrick Murphy and his wife Andrea, his father-in-law Andrew Franz, loving aunt and uncle, Kathy and Jerry Gorski and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1 Riverstone Circle in New Hope, PA.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton Township.
Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawerenceville.
