Kathleen ""Mama Tul"" Lyden, 53, a loving mother, wife, daughter and aunt died suddenly Sunday at Capital Health System at Fuld, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, she was a life long Lawrence Township resident. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1973. She was a member of St. Michael's R. C. Church for the past 15 years and served as the Chairperson of the Family Life Committee at the church. She also served as the housekeeper at the rectory for many years. She currently was the Dinner Chef at the Notre Dame Convent.
Kathleen was also a member of T.P.A.D.'s, the Trenton Polish American Democratic Club.
Daughter of the late Henry Tuliszewski, she is survived by her mother, Phyllis Grocott Tuliszewski of Lawrenceville; her husband, Richard Lyden, her two daughters, Amy and Samantha Lyden at home; her brothers, Henry E. ""Buzzy"" Tuliszewski and his wife Nancy D. of Princeton and John M. Tuliszewski and his wife Nancy A. of Mt. Holly; a niece, Kylee M. Tuliszewski and a nephew John H. Tuliszewski both of Mt. Holly; her mother-in-law, Kuulei Lyden of Lawrenceville; two brothers-in-law, William Lyden and his wife Sharyn of Pemberton and Michael Lyden of Arvada, CO; a sister-in-law, Michele Cuff and her husband Michael of Barnegat and many, many friends.
Kathleen's funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Michael's R.C. Church, Trenton. Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
