Gloria I. (Cortina) Ramsey, 95, of Morrisville, Pa, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2026. 

Born in Trenton and a graduate of Trenton High School, Gloria was the daughter of the late Baslio and Mary Cortina.

Preceded by her husband Edward Ramsey, she was the sister of the late John Cortina, Americo Cortina, Benjamin Cortina, Bernice Sowsian and Nancy Procaccino.  She is survived by sister Elaine Wilson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gloria always enjoyed working.  After graduating, she started working at General Electric (where she met Ronald Reagan), followed by US Steel. The Trentonian, and then finally the State of New Jersey.

In addition to her work, Gloria was an avid traveler and had visited many places around the world including Greece, Turkey, Italy and Africa.  

The visitation for Gloria will be held on Wednesday August 5th, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Funeral services will begin at 10:45 AM.

Entombment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum in Hamilton, NJ.
