Frances Mary Petrone, 92, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at home.

Born in Newark, NJ, Frances was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville. She retired from The Lawrence Township Board of Education, where she was a custodian for many years.  She was a member of the Lawrence Senior Center, and the Lawrence Road Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.  Frances was a great mother, loved her family and friends, loved her grand puppies, and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Grace Ingardone; wife of her late husband John V. Petrone; mother of her late daughter Lori Ann Petrone; sister of the late Mildred Evans, Louise Fiori, Lucy Ingardone, Joseph Ingardone, Rocco Ingardone, and Anthony Ingardone; a dear friend Richard Gilton.

She is survived by her daughter JoAnn Petrone; her sister Marianne Cecere; many nieces, nephews and her best family friend Thomas A. Ciaccio; and her loving dog Scout.
