In Loving Memory of Nilda Caringal Wrigley

May 12, 1961 – May 7, 2026

Nilda Caringal Wrigley passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, just days before her 65th birthday. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and courage, leaving an enduring impact on all who knew her.

Nilda will be remembered for her bright spirit, joyful humor, and fearless heart. She embraced life fully and loved deeply, always placing family at the center of her world. Her strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion created a legacy that will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

In addition to her loving nature, Nilda was a highly accomplished and respected professional. She built a distinguished career as an Accounting Professional, with extensive experience as a Controller, Senior Accountant, Real Estate Manager, and Property Accountant. She was skilled in all phases of accounting and financial data analysis, known for her ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.

Nilda was an exceptional accounting manager who consistently found the most effective path from goals to successful outcomes. Her innovative approach to time management and her expert problem-solving abilities allowed her to assess and refine processes, making them more efficient and effective. Her professionalism, intelligence, and dedication earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and peers alike.

She is lovingly survived by her former husband, Edward Wrigley; her sons, Matthew and Mark Wrigley; her daughter-in-law, Lacey; and her cherished grandchildren, Markey and Liam.

Nilda is also survived by her dear sisters, Vilma Caringal Limson, Yolanda Caringal, and Lorenza Aguila; her brothers, Roberto and Edgardo Caringal; as well as her in-laws and her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.

Though we grieve her loss, we take comfort in the love she gave so freely and the memories she leaves behind. Her spirit lives on in every shared laugh, every story retold, and every act of courage inspired by her life.

The Viewing will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026  4:30 PM – 7:00 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648

Eulogies will begin on Saturday, May 16, 2026 9:30 AM  at The Church of Saint Ann 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00AM

Nilda will be entrusted for cremation, and a private interment of her ashes will be held by her family at a later date.
