John A. Palombi, Jr of Venice, FL was called to Heaven after a beautiful life spanning 95 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Irene Wyszynski Palombi, sons and “daughters” Peter and Judy Palombi of Parker, Colorado, Robert and Claire Palombi of Eastampton, NJ, John Palombi of Dagsboro, Delaware, James and Debbie Palombi of Lawrenceville, NJ, Joseph and Cathy Palombi of Venice, FL with whom he resided, Paul and Maria Palombi of Lawrenceville, NJ, fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, sister Gloria and Cliff Demerest of West Chester, PA, brother Victor and Geri Palombi of Brentwood, CA and numerous nieces and nephews.
John proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean war. ‘Pop’ enjoyed traveling, cruising and spending time with his family. John will be lovingly remembered by everyone for his sense of humor and love of family. ‘Pop’ will be sorely missed by all, but he will certainly be watching over his family and friends because as he always said, “Family is EVERYTHING!”
The visitation for John will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 1-4PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Inurnment and military honors will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
Due to constraints regarding floral arrangements imposed by the cemetery, in lieu of flowers if you wish to make a donation in his name, Pop supported the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or to the charity of your choice.
