Jane Ann Anderson, 98, of Lawrenceville, NJ, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on December 22, 2025. 

She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and was a graduate of Lincoln Prep School. She moved to NJ in 1948, and resided in Lawrenceville for 53 years.

Jane retired from the Department of Transportation, and was also employed for many years by the Department of Labor and Industry.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Jane Butler; husband, Robert Anderson; granddaughter, Stacey Ellis Gorlaski; son-in-law, Frederick “Butch” Bentley; sister, Ruth Butler. She is survived by her daughters, Diane (Ken) Chauncey, Roberta “Robin” Bentley; grandchildren, David (Jen) Rozzelle, Christine (Caleb) Hough, Lauren Rozzelle; bonus grandchildren, Kevin (Kirk) Bentley, Melissa (George) Jackson; great-grandchildren, Will, Becca, Char, Liz; bonus great-grandchildren, Brian, Olivia; pet kitty, Sweetie; extended family, Joseph Gorlaski, Janet Ellis, William Ellis; and dear friends.

Jane will always be fondly remembered for her warmth and fun-loving spirit.

Funeral services and interment will be held privately in the spring.
