Catherine Frances Keuper Grogan, 99, entered into God's care on December 29, 2025 peacefully at home. She was the matriarch of our family and will be dearly missed.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident. Catherine in her early years worked in the office of Acme-Hamilton Rubber Company. Five years after her fourth child was born, she worked 21 years for A&P Markets. Catherine was a life member of Deborah Hospital, OLS/St. Anthony's Senior Club #1, and volunteered at St. Francis Hospital for many years.
Predeceased by parents Marion and Frank Keuper, Husband of 48 years James D. Grogan, sister Marie Keuper Provenzano, granddaughter Candace Leigh Grogan and son-in-law John A. Gusz. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Maureen M. Gusz, Colleen and Michael Rudnick of Texas, two sons and daughters-in-law, James M. and Diane Grogan of Brigantine, and Michael E. and Denise Grogan of Franklinville;.10 grandchildren Jennifer Harding and Joe Muni, Kristine Gusz, Keith and Lara Rudnick, Corinne and Erik Guajardo, William Shwiezer, James F. and Emily Grogan, Christopher and Tara Grogan, Rose Grogan and Chris Walden, Daniel and Yuka Grogan, Michael J.Grogan and Melissa Carney; 14 great grandchildren Zachary and Amanda Harding, Dylan, Nora, Kellen and Garrett Grogan, Ava and Max Rudnick, Liam and Eliana Guajardo, Logan and Aleena Mcinnes, Vivianna Walden and Jinora Grogan and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The visitation for Catherine will be held on Sunday January 4, 2026 at from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 Whitehorse Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08610. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 12:00PM.
Interment will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 11:00AM at Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08619. Funeral attendees are asked to arrive at the cemetery no later than 10:45AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OLS/St. Anthony's Church or Deborah Hospital.
