Charles D. “Chuck” Morreale, Jr., 90, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at The Terraces, Lawrenceville, NJ.
Born in Hamilton Twp., NJ, Chuck was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville. He was an Air Force Veteran, proudly serving his country during the Berlin Crisis in 1961. Chuck is a retiree of NJ Bell/Bell Atlantic where he was employed as a telephone engineer from 1955-1988. After his retirement, he went back to work at Princeton University from 1988-2003. He was a longtime parishioner at St. James Roman Catholic Church. Some of his hobbies included traveling, stained glass, and creating Tiffany replicas. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and a genuine friend.
Husband of the late Sylvia Morreale, son of the late Charles and Constance Morreale; brother of the late John Morreale, Antoinette Dorothy Morreale, Marion and Alfred Deutscher, Salvatore and Marion Morreale, son-in-law of the late Anthony and Julia Ferrazzano, brother-in-law of the late Annette and Frank Pacera; grandfather of the late Anthony V. Morreale Jr.; and many nieces, nephews and special friends; he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Charles A. & Linda Morreale, son David Morreale, son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Lydia Morreale; his grandchildren Elizabeth Morreale, Charles J. and his wife Caitlyn Morreale, John Morreale; great- grandson Charles F. Morreale; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 10:30AM at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 29 East Paul Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638.
Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
The visitation for Chuck will be held on Friday morning from 9-10AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charles D. Morreale, Jr. can be made to the C. Everett Koop Institute.
