Dear Skipper,
I am sending all my love to you and the girls. I wish I could have been at the service but Saturday morning I fell and broke a rib and got 4 stitches in my head. I know that you know but Mary Anna was one of the good people in this world (anyone who would put up with you for all those years) and she will be deeply missed. I never forget the impact that you have had on my life and for that I am forever grateful. I will come down in the coming weeks and take you out for breakfast at the kennelworth diner! I love you and your family and will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
