Michael A. White, 58, of Ewing, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 after a brief illness at Capital Health Hospital, Trenton, New Jersey.
Born in Somers Point, NJ, Michael was a long time resident of the Ewing area. He was raised by his grandparents in his early years in Marion, South Carolina, then later joined his parents in New Jersey where he attended the Princeton Regional Schools and later went to Colgate University in New York.
Michael worked at Bristol Myers Squibb, Hopewell New Jersey for about 20 years before retiring. He was a big Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia 76ers and New York Mets fan. He also loved music wholeheartedly. He played Tuba, Trombone and Baritone in High School. His favorite singers were Luther Vandross, Patti LaBelle, Mariah Carey, and Gladys Knight just to name a few. Michael was an extrovert who talked to just about anyone he came across. He literally lit up a room with his infectious smile and charm when he walked in. He was loved by all who knew him.
Son of the late Edward and Ida White. He is survived by his loving devoted wife Charity White of 30 years, son Daryl White; grandson Easton White; sister Andrea Billups; sister-in-law Philomena Sagoe, niece Patrice A. Turner, a host of uncles, aunts, other nieces, cousins and nephews, special second mother Jacklyn Swain and a second sister Renee` Swain of Princeton, New Jersey.
Funeral services will be held on Friday August 29, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors located at 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Burial will be held at Ewing Cemetery located at 78 Scotch Road, Ewing, NJ.
The visitation for Michael will be held on Friday August 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
