David J. Nagele, 64, of Ewing, passed away on Wednesday August 20, 2025 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Trenton, NJ he was a long time resident of the Ewing area. David worked as grounds crew worker for the College of New Jersey for over 42 years prior to his passing.

Dave was an animal lover, particularly cats. Throughout the years he provided loving care to a number of cats, mostly strays, who loved him in return.

Son of the late Carl R. Nagele, Sr and Peggy Lou Rhine. He is survived by his companion Kim Barratt Nagele; brother James Nagele and wife Sonya; brother Carl Nagele; nephew Eliot Nagele (fiance Nicky Attar); niece Emily Nagele (husband Shane Mullin); grand niece,  Adelina; and grand nephew,  James.

Funeral services will be private.
