Doris M. "Dolly" Cregar Obituary

Doris “Dolly” M. Cregar passed away on August 19, 2025 in Lawrenceville, NJ. She was born December 15, 1929 in Easton, PA. 


The daughter of the late Charles and Lillian McIntyre of Easton, PA. Wife of the late Charles R. Cregar. Dolly is survived by her son Charles A. Cregar and wife Eileen. Late grandson Cale Robert Cregar. Granddaughter Misty Leigh Russo and husband Daniel Russo. Great grandchildren Kailey, Brianna, and Daniel Russo, and CJ Cregar. Doris had 3 sisters, Eleanor, Frances and Shirley. Eleanor and husband Richard were always spending time with Dolly and Charlie; they were the best of friends. She also had 4 brothers Russell, Clyde, Lindy, and Bud. Sister in-law Etta Searfoss. Close family friend, Robert Turner and wife Krissy. Many nieces, nephews and dear friends.


Doris was a homemaker and an excellent seamstress who enjoyed making clothing for her grandchildren.  She loved boating and spending her winters in Florida.  She enjoyed cruises and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a graduate of Wilson High School in Wilson Boro, PA class of 1948. She was a member of the Ewing Women’s Club and the First Presbyterian Church of Ewing. 


Funeral services will be private with entombmentl in the Ewing Church Cemetery Mausoleum.
