Jadwiga Marczewska, born on December 4, 1960, in Poddębice, Poland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with illness. She left this world surrounded by her loved ones, who will forever cherish her memory.

Jadwiga was a remarkable woman, full of life, strength, and energy. To those who knew her, nothing ever seemed impossible—her determination, warmth, and unwavering spirit touched everyone around her.

In 2010, Jadwiga moved to the United States with her husband, choosing to spend the rest of her life close to her beloved son and grandson. Family was always at the center of her heart, and her love for them was boundless.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Mirosław Marczewski; her loving son, Przemysław Marczewski; her treasured grandson, Sebastian Marczewski; her dear sister, Aneta Paweda, and brother-in-law, Zygmund Paweda; nieces Milena Włodarska and Ilona Paweda; cousin Szczepan Przybylski; and daughter-in-law, Karolina Marczewski, along with many extended family and friends who will miss her deeply.

Though she is no longer with us in person, Jadwiga will forever remain a guiding light. She is now our guardian angel in heaven, watching over her family with love, comfort, and protection. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 10:00AM at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638. 

Inurnment will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp., NJ.

There will be no visitation hours.

Per the family’s request, flowers will not be accepted at the church or at the cemetery.
