In Loving Memory of Jeffrey Charles Slavkovsky
September 14,1961 – July 25, 2025
Jeffrey Charles Slavkovsky, passed away peacefully at home on July 25, 2025. Born on September 14, 1961, Jeffrey lived a life full of passion, curiosity, and Love.
He spent many years working in the county library in Lawrence township, but that isn’t all about him. Jeffrey was and will always be a true devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, Jeffrey never missed a game. He has a deep love for sports, although competitive it wasn’t just about the record at the end of the season, but the stories, the energy, and the loyalty behind it all. He carried that same loyalty into every aspect of his life.
He had a deep interest in current events and always kept up with the news. Speaking of which, the weather was a favorite topic of Jeffrey’s. Often telling you if a storm was coming or telling you when there will be sunshine, he stayed curious and was always learning which shows you the type of man he was; determined and compassionate about even the littlest things that life throws at you.
One of his deepest joys in life was his German Shepherd, Tessa. The bond they shared for over eighteen years together was unshakable. Within recent years, his sweet Tessa also passed away in a similar way, Peaceful and Quiet. She wasn’t an ordinary dog, and she was more than a pet, she was family. Not only to Jeffrey but to the people who got to experience her presence. This shows you really how similar they were. Jeffrey was not just an ordinary man. He was family, and loved by many.
Jeffrey was the beloved son of the late John R. Slavkovsky and Eileen Myers, the brother of the late John R. Slavkovsky Jr. And the late Judy Slavkovsky. He is survived by his brother, James T. Slavkovsky; his niece, Leslie Giovacchini, and her husband Angelo Catanzaiti and their daughter Milania: and his nephew, Steven Giovacchini. Other surviving relatives are his Aunt and Uncle; Ann and John Foy, cousins; Amy and Bob Foy, Brenda Foy
Jeffrey will be remembered for his love of family, his strong opinions, his big heart, and the simple joy he found in the world around him, whether he was watching a sports game, talking about the news and weather, or spending time with those he cared for, he left a lasting impression and made an impact around who he loved most. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
