Jeffrey “Jeff” Alan Ginter, 54, of Lawrenceville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Penn Medicine, Princeton Medical Center, Plainsboro, NJ.

Born in Livingston, NJ, to Tobi (Novack) and Fred Ginter. Jeff grew up in Fords, New Jersey, with his little sister Cindy. By his telling he had an idyllic childhood where he spent lots of time riding his bike very long distances to play basketball with his friends.  Jeff later moved to Lawrenceville, where he resided for 25 years. Jeff was a graduate of Lehigh University, where he studied Computer Science and English. He was a proud member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, where he made lifelong friends. 

Jeff built a career in technology, working at CA Technologies in Ewing, before transitioning to the world of startups, where he continued his career as Chief Revenue Officer at Aqua Securities and Vulcan Cyber. He was ecstatic to be part of the launch of the startup Alchemain and served as President of the Board of Directors at the time of his passing. His work took him around the world, and he enjoyed mentoring, encouraging, and engaging with the people who worked for and with him. He had a knack for finding humor in every situation and was quick with a joke or story to make people feel at ease.

Jeff was the proud father of Brennan and Riley and married to his wife Joëlle for 25 years. As a family, they enjoyed traveling the world together, exploring new places and restaurants. Jeff always encouraged his children to follow their passions. Jeff had a huge heart and was always there to extend a helping hand to family, friends, and colleagues whenever they were in need. His kindness and generosity will always be remembered, and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Joëlle (Strong) Ginter; his beloved children Brennan and Riley; his parents Tobi (Novack) Ginter and Fred Ginter; his sister Cindy Ginter; his mother-in-law Thea Strong; brother-in-law Morgan Strong and his wife Lorena; and his faithful companion, Zeus the goldendoodle.

The visitation for Jeff will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 12-3 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. 

A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jeff’s memory to World Central Kitchen.
