Joseph Paul Quinty of Palm Beach Gardens FL, formerly of Lawrenceville, NJ died peacefully on July 13, 2025 at the age of 74.
A resident of Lawrenceville most of his life Mr. Quinty was an appliance, refrigeration and air conditioning tech owning JP Quinty Refrigeration for over 30 years. During the 1980’s he was an active member of the Lawrence Jr Baseball Association as manager and coach for Little League and Babe Ruth teams. An avid New York Yankees fan, he never missed a televised game even when moving to Florida 14 years ago. He enjoyed his weekly Florida senior golf leagues, attending Spring Training games and especially fishing at his favorite Jupiter inlet spot.
Mr. Quinty was preceded in death by his mother, Helen (Kraska) Quinty, his father, George F Quinty Sr. his siblings George F Quinty, Jr. and Richard Ralph Quinty; and father-in-law Joseph Perone. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years Andrea Lea (Perone) Quinty. In addition to his loving wife, Joe is survived by his best buddy, son Joseph Jason and his wife Sara Megan; PopPop to his beloved grandchildren Olivia and Brooks Quinty; step and half siblings Cammy Castillo and Robert Quinty; his nieces Kim Marie Pillon, Nicole Chell and Kristin Quinty; his nephews Jarrett Macli and Spencer Macli and Nathanael Ormsby Thompson; his dear mother in law Margaret Perone; and sisters in law Jackie (Al) Macli, Holli Thompson (Rick) Leach and Lisa Perone and a host of family friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday July 24, 2025 at Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ, 08648.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at St. Hedwigs Cemetery, Ewing Township, NJ.
