Christopher M. Sabatino Obituary

In Loving Memory of Christopher M. Sabatino

January 20, 1959 – June 12, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Christopher M. Sabatino, 66, of Trenton, New Jersey left this world peacefully on June 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Chris was a hardworking stationary engineer (Blue Seal) with I.U.O.E Local 68, where he built a proud career before retiring. No matter what life handed him, he faced it with strength, humor, and quiet determination.

He found joy in the simple things—hunting, fishing, a good movie, dinner at the diner, and spending time with his granddaughters.

Above all, Chris loved being a father and a grandfather. He lived for his family, and the love he gave was unconditional and limitless.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Frances V. O’Donnell Thompson. He leaves behind his loving wife, Shari A. Sabatino; his children, Melissa N. Sabatino, James W. Cole, Cameron M. Sabatino, and Christopher M. Sabatino II; and three granddaughters: Nevaeha, Venezia, and Rory. He is also survived by his dearest siblings, George W. Sabatino Sr., Lisa G. Mostrangeli(Albert), Beth Ann Rivera(Antonio), Gerald A. Thompson(Susan),  and many beloved nieces, nephews, family, and friends who meant the world to him.

Chris was welcomed into Heaven by his devoted father, Harry G. Thompson, and his mother- and father-in-law, Mary L. Hardin and James W. Hardin.

Calling hours followed by a short service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00pm at Faith Baptist Church, 2111 Kuser Road Hamilton, New Jersey 08690.

Chris will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever as we carry his spirit, his smile, and memories with us every day.
