Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Czigler

Mary Elizabeth Pollack Czigler, life long resident of Lawrenceville, NJ, passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on June 3, 2025.

Married to Steven Richard Czigler since 1950.

Predeceased in death by her husband, Steven and daughter Kathleen Buckler.  Surviving are her daughters Cynthia and Robert Orson, Marybeth and Robert M. Duane, and Judith and Paul Dever; six grandchildren Renee DeMan, Stephanie Krautter, Jessica Taylor, Robert Orson, Michael Czigler, and Dana Scribner; seven great-grandchildren Jack and Delphine DeMan, Marley and Remy Priest, Levana Orson, Stevie-Estelle Taylor, and Azalea Rayne Scribner.

Mary Elizabeth was an active member of The Church of St. Ann, Lawrenceville, NJ.  She retired from Bell Telephone company.  She enjoyed her retirement traveling with her husband Steven to over 30 countries, and her beloved condo in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Some of her hobbies included dancing with her husband, bowling, tennis, her garden club, backyard pool with family and her daily ritual watching her cowboy movies.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 11:00AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton Twp., NJ.

The visitation for Mary Elizabeth will be held on Monday morning from 10-11AM at the funeral home.
