Ron was not only a co-worker but a good friend. His easy going personality made him a great person to work with.
When the support staff had to work during the Winter and Spring recesses, he would organize a lunch in the home economics room one of the days and he would make potato pancakes. He loved my asparagus and egg sandwiches so he would organize a lunch during Spring break so we could make them for everyone.
He was a wonderful person to have fun with. I found out that he did not like purple so after he left for the day I would announce tomorrow is purple day and the staff would all come in wearing purple. He would always come by my desk with a big smile and say I know you did this and laugh.
My husband and I would join Sunny and Ron for dinner. I remember going out to one resturant so we could hear young Ron's band when he was just starting out with his band. Ron loved his family and was always telling us what they were doing. He was so proud of them.
The years I worked with Ron were the best years. He was not only one of my bosses but a dear friend that I miss very much.

My sincere condolences to the family. “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday”.
Ron taught me so much as we served together at Nottingham High School. He was a very special man that made such a positive difference in the lives of the people he worked with and the students he served. He always disciplined with a smile and kind heart.
