Thomas R. ""Tom"" Marion Obituary

Thomas R. Marion, 70, of Pennington, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Serenity Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, NJ, Tom was a longtime resident of Pennington. Described by a family friend as a Renaissance Man, Tom knew something about everything and always had a story to tell. He retired in 2022 after working as a data engineer and consultant for many years, including starting his own business. Early in his career he was the youngest foreman at his workplace, U.S. Steel. His hobbies included sailing, hiking throughout Mercer county, and volunteering for Pennington’s senior services, where he taught qigong classes as a certified instructor. Tom enjoyed qigong, yoga, and the tai chi classes he started taking when he retired.

Son of the late Edward T. and Elizabeth Marion and proud older brother of nine surviving siblings, he is survived by his wife Janet, his son Brian, and his daughter Sarah.
