Obituary of Janet Lennon

Janet Lennon, 79, of Lawrenceville, NJ passed into the loving embrace of the Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at her daughter’s home in Virginia Beach, VA.

Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a long-time resident of Lawrenceville. Janet retired from New Jersey Transit, where she was a transportation operator.  Some of her hobbies included gardening, traveling, cruising, camping in Myrtle Beach and spending time with her grandchildren.  Her favorite flower was Roses and Christmas was her favorite Holiday.

Daughter of the late Henry and Minerva Lennon; mother of the late Edward “Sonny” Kitchen; she is survived by her 4 children, William T. Fleming II, Karen Donyell Edwards, Johnathan Fleming and Janet Donyell Engram.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Interment will follow at Ewing Cemetery, 78 Scoth Road, Ewing Twp., NJ.

The visitation for Janet will be held on Friday morning from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
