Obituary of Gregory Barnett

Gregory Barnett, 79, of West Trenton, passed away on February 19, 2025 at home.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident. A graduate of Trenton High School, He was an employee of General Motors until his retirement.

Greg had a passion for nature and the outdoors. As an avid fisherman, he enjoyed spending time on the ocean and on many freshwater rivers and streams over the course of his life.

Son of the late William PJ Barnett and Adele Barnett-Naro, he is survived by his wife of 49 years Rita, his son Thomas J. Barnett, his brother and sister in-law William and Karon Barnett, two sisters and a brother-in law, Linda and James Vizzini, and Kathleen Little, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, many nieces and nephews as well as dear friends, caring neighbors, and fishing buddies.

Visitation for Gregory will be held on Tuesday, February, 25, 2025 from 1-3PM at the Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Funeral services will follow at 3:00PM at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be private.
