I had the pleasure of meeting and conversing with Mr. Miller several times over many years, through my friendship with his daughter, Elaine. I was always impressed with his gentle spirit and “old school” charm.
May God receive him unto Himself and bring peace to all his loved ones,
Irv would call me on a regular basis to keep in touch. One of my friends is very interested in genealogy and spoke with him several times. He had a great memory and loved remembering the good old days.

I have known Irv and his family for almost 50 years. He was a not only a good umpire in both baseball and softball, but a better friend! Irv was a perfect gentleman. May God hold you in the palm of his hand. Peace!!

Irv was a kind man. He took me for my drivers license test. He would always played catch with my older brother and the other children in the neighborhood. I have such fond memories of Irv.
