Obituary of Maureen T. Bleasdale

Please share a memory of Maureen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Maureen T. Bleasdale passed away peacefully on May 3, 2021 at the age of 93. Maureen, the youngest daughter of Irish immigrants Hugh and Mary Rafferty Breen, was raised in Hamilton Township, New Jersey. Immediately after graduating Cathedral High School, Maureen began her long career at NJ Bell (now known as Verizon) retiring after decades of faithful service. She was a longtime Parishioner of St. Anthony Church in Trenton, New Jersey and St. Sebastian Church in Sebastian, Florida. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald (Don) in 2017; her brother, Hugh; and her sisters, Jean, Frances, Margaret, and Dolores. Although Maureen and Don had no children of their own, they will always be lovingly remembered as second parents and the “Coolest Aunt and Uncle in the World” to the numerous nieces and nephews that survive them. In keeping with Maureen’s wishes, services and burial will be private. Heartfelt thanks to the entire staff and the residents at Morris Hall Meadows House 4 for their loving care and friendship shown to Maureen during her brief, but wonderful stay. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maureen's name can be made to the Morris Hall Employee Appreciation Fund, ATTN: Caralee Dill, 1 Bishops Drive, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 or to a charity of your choice.
