Obituary of Kenneth J. Dura

Kenneth “Ken” J. Dura, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at home. Ken was born in Trenton, NJ, and grew up in Warren OH. He returned to Trenton after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University. Ken was a Data Center Manager at McGraw Hill Publishing in Hightstown where he spent most of his career and also met most of his longtime friends. He more recently retired from Bristol Myers Squibb in Hopewell, NJ. He had a passion for golf and loved his annual trip to Myrtle Beach for a week of golfing with his friends. He also enjoyed bowling for many years in the McGraw Hill bowling league. Ken was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph M. and Charlotte (Swiniuchowski) Dura. Ken is survived by his brother, David Dura and his wife Mary, and his niece. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 12 Noon at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638. Interment will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp. Visitation for Ken will be held on Thursday morning from 9:30-11:30AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ken’s memory to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or the charity of your choice.
