Obituary of Lucja Piwowarczyk Heller

Lucja Piwowarczyk Heller, 91, of Lawrenceville died peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton, NJ. Born in Bialystok, Supraslu, Poland in 1929 she immigrated to the United States in 1959. Lucja was employed by Circle K Industries before her career at General Motors in Ewing Township, eventually retiring from GM after many years of service. Lucja was a member of both the Lawrence and Hamilton Senior Citizens Clubs and the Polish National Alliance Society. She loved flower gardening, spending time in Florida and going to the casinos, especially on the weekend trips with her friends to Atlantic City and enjoyed traveling and cruises with her late soulmate Michael. Daughter of the late Michal and Adela Solawinska Piwowarczyk, sister of the late Ted Piwowarczyk, mother of her late beloved daughter and son-in-law, Maryann Russell Nester and William “Campy” Nester, and her very close and loved companion Michael Scerba and her late best friend Tina Smirnov; Lucja is survived by her two sons, Zbigniew “Mel” Milewski and his wife Lana and Marvin Heller all of Hamilton; her granddaughter Sharon Lehtinen and husband Michael of Hamilton; her grandson Damien Milewski of Mapleshade; her two great-grandsons Gage Sitko and Zachary Lehtinen both of Hamilton and her dear and longtime family friend Chrissie Vincent of Lawrenceville. Due to the continuing indoor gathering restrictions graveside services in the Lawrenceville Cemetery will be private. Memorial contributions to honor Lucja may be made to any local small business of your choosing that have struggled to continue to serve our area during this pandemic or to Lawrence Township Emergency Medical Services, 165 Pilla Ave. Lawrence, NJ 08648
