I grew up on 840 Bunker Hill Avenue and Ruth lived next door, she was always a friend but after she had to move out of her home and into St. Mary's, I believe she and I developed a true friendship. Whenever I would visit her there she was always in a cheerful mood, she would always say, "I am such a lucky person" and "we are not guaranteed tomorrow". I was lucky enough to see her out side in front of the the building when the COVID restrictions had eased but it was a short visit. Thank you Ruth for your friendship, you will be missed by many, me included.
