To the Daniels Family:
I just heard of Marks passing from mutual friends in Henderson Harbor. My deepest condolences and I’m sure even the salmon will miss his enthusiasm on his boat.

I am sorry for your loss, Yvonne. The loss of a spouse is especially hard. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Rest assured, that Barbara will be among many others greeting and welcoming Mark to his new home in Heaven. If I can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to call. Even if just to talk. You were always so kind and gentle helping Barbara during choir practice and Sundays at the 11:00 Mass. I will never forget the thoughtfulness and love you showed to both of us. Requiescat in Pace, Mark!

I worked with Mark for many years at Merck in the Patent Department. He was an excellent patent attorney and much beyond that. He was easy to work with, helpful, calm and unfailingly polite in dealing with everyone. He was instrumental in organizing the Merck Pro Bono Program to provide legal assistance to disadvantaged citizens of Union County and beyond. The effects and benefits that flowed and are still flowing from the Pro Bono Program extend well beyond his tenure at Merck and will continue far into the future. In my opinion it is probably his signature accomplishment. But not to be forgotten is his organization of the Patent Department Softball Team which provided an activity for all members of the department to gather socially and have a great time together, irrespective of the final score. My condolences go to Yvonne, his children, his grandchildren and his extended family. I know he was loved and will be missed.

How could you miss him, a lot of kids, now without a father. A wife, choir person,
On her own, with this fatherless children, all the committee's, all the class his son,
Who was 1s degree with me in 2002, in K of C. On the pulpit every Sunday, never,
And I mean NEVER, in a bad mood every Sunday, unlike me, I thrive on it. Rest in peace.

I worked with Mark in the Patent Dept. at Merck for many years. He was my absolute favorite Attorney and I told him so. He recently reached out to me when I retired in May and said if I had any questions about retiring please let him know. He was always respectful, dignified and kind and looked out for us in the Administrative area who served all of the Attorneys, and he made sure others treated us that way too. I am deeply saddened by his passing and still cannot comprehend it. God bless you Mark and rest in peace with God and all our loved ones. You are missed. My sincerest condolences and prayers to the Family.
