Flora styled my hair for almost twenty years. We shared many stories and laughs every time we met, mostly about her children and grandson, Luca. She loved taking care of him and watching him grow. Flora was kind and considerate: she even was able to give me a haircut at an outdoor location during Covid. I will miss her sweet smile and and the pride she took in her work. Rest in Peace, Dear Flora.

I met her a few years ago when I went to the JC Penney salon for the first time. I immediately felt a connection with her. She was caring, genuine, thoughtful and compassionate. I looked forward to my appointments at the salon to see Flora and talk with her. We would share stories about our families, life experiences, and viewpoints. I will truly miss this special woman. Flora will forever remain in my heart and memories.

My deepest condolences to the Toto family on Flora 's passing. I met her years ago when I took my mother (Rosemarie Cermele Furtick) to JC Penney's to get her hair done. The first time we met her we loved her! She was so sweet to us, a very kind and caring and compassionate person. We would always looked forward to seeing her and talking about our families. Daniela, Federico and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Flora was such a lovely person. I always enjoyed chatting with her at the mall when I worked there. Even when I was there shopping, I would go to JC Penney just to look for her and say hi. She would always ask about my mom and sisters. Dear Toto Family, We knew Flora for many years as she was our hair stylist at JCP. She always greeted my sister and I with a cherry "Hi girls! How you doing? It's good to see you!" This was usually followed by hugs and more greetings. It was always more than a hair cut. It was a catch-up on everyone's lives, what was new with family and the sharing photo's.
