Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 20, 2010 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of Saint Ann Visitation: Monday, from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home Interment: St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewng, NJ BiographyPasquale “Pat” D’Angelo, 89, of Lawrenceville passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday.
Born in Orsonga, Italy, in the Province of Chieti, Pat has been a resident of Lawrenceville most of his life.
He graduated from Skillman High School, Class of 1941 and attended Rutgers University.
Pat was a World War II veteran having served in the United States Army Air Force.
He was a member of the Church of St. Ann and served as an usher. Pat was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #7000 where he was a Past Grand Knight and was a 4th Degree Member, Bishop Griffin Assembly.
Pat was also a member and the current president of Lawrence Township Senior Citizens, Club #5.
Son of the late Luigi and Angela Scioscioli D’Angelo and father of the late Gary D’Angelo, Pat is survived by his wife, Jean Babecki D’Angelo; his son, Dennis L. D’Angelo and his wife Sandy and a sister Joan D’Angelo.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 20th beginning at 10 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Ann, Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing.
Friends may call on Monday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Knights of Columbus, Council #7000 will conduct services at 7 PM.
