Biography

Edward H. Flagg V, 66, of Lawrenceville, died Thursday at Capital Health Regional Health Center in Trenton.

Born in Trenton, he resided most of his life in Lawrenceville.

Ed was a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School Class of 1961 and played on the school basketball team.

He served with the New Jersey National Guard.

Ed was currently employed with Prudential Fox & Roach Realtors. He had previously been employed with Weidel Realtors, P.I.E. Trucking, ABF Trucking and Interstate Motor Freight Systems.

Son of the late Edward H. Flagg IV, and father of the late Edward H. Flagg VI, he is survived by his mother Agnes Green Flagg, and a daughter Angela Giovacchini and her husband Carmen. Also surviving are his brothers, Thomas Flagg and his wife Barbara, James Flagg, and Richard Flagg and his wife Marianne, his sisters Carole Flagg, Barbara Longstreet and her husband William, Bette Chomicki and her husband Nicholas, and Nancy Kuprewicz, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30 AM at St. Paul’s R.C. Church in Princeton.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton.

Family and friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Ed’s name be made to the American Cancer Society, 3076 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
