Biography

Jean L. Valeri, 84, of Yardley, PA died on Wednesday at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. 

Born in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, she had resided in Yardley for the past 42 years. 

Mrs. Valeri graduated from Trenton High School and attended Rider College. 

She was an administrative assistant with the Mercer County court system for 35 years before retiring. 

Mrs. Valeri liked to take trips to Atlantic City and Belmar Beach. She loved her little French poodles, Jazzabell, and Angel.  She also loved to cook in the Italian tradition and will be especially remembered for her zuppa inglese (rum cake). 

Daughter of the late Pasquale and Catherine Chianese Landolfi, she is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Samuel J. Valeri, her beloved daughter, Phyllis Valeri-Bruschini, her grandson Brandon A. Bruschini, her two brothers; Ralph Landolfi and his wife Loretta, and Pat Landolfi and his wife Barbara, her sister; Loretta Otto, her brother-in-law, Ben Valeri and his wife Virginia, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Fred V. Bruschini, her sister-in-law, Josephine Valeri Scarano, and her brother-in-law, August J. Valeri. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA.  Entombment will be in the Madonna Mausoleum at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton. 

Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at the church.

We will all miss Jean- she was an unbelievable mother,grandmother,wife and friend. Holidays were her favorite time of the year - as a guest she always made you feel welcome. Her heart was as big as her personality. We will all miss you dear friend. Love Pat, Mike & Michael
